Name:
Hazelfur
Gender:
Tom
Age:
25 moons
Clan:
OakClan
Rank:
Warrior
Description:
Hazelfur is a fairly attractive tom with long, light brown tabby fur as a base. It is dappled with darker, cocoa brown streaks along his body, the same coloring on the signature 'M' of a tabby he has across his forehead His eyes are lined with a rich tan color, fading into a darker brown to look somewhat like tear drops. It then turns into a cream along his neck and chest, the fur flaring out like a lion's mane just along his throat. His whiskers are long and white, his nose a russet color lines with black. His tail is long and feathery and provides him with much-needed balance when climbing trees or running at his top speed. His long fur gives the illusion of short legs, but his paws are slighlty disproportionate, being rather small and dainty like a she-cats. He despises that part of his body, and his paws, being so small, take away the extra boost of agility given to him by his tail. You'll always, always find something stuck in his pelt, being so long. Whether burrs, bramble thorns, or pricks, it is hard to keep himself clean. Lastly, his eyes are a warm, bright moss green, matching that of certain herbs the medicine cat dishes out. Hazelfur is attractive, but that doesn't mean he likes it.
Personality:
Okay, so he's handsome, but what does that prove? Hazelfur would much rather have a short, plain pelt than this curse he possesses. Not only that, but he'd also like to prove himself the right way, by hard work and determination. He would much rather get attention for something he has done to earn it, but otherwise it gets irksome.
On another note, Hazelfur is quite opinionated and is no pushover. He thinks what he thinks and is stubborn abour it, but never seems to look before he leaps. He's more known to fight it out instead of thinking it out, and will do whatever it takes to prove himself right. Of course, he's not trying to hurt his Clan in any way, shape or form, but is only stating what he thinks is best, however mouse-brained or not. Don't go challenging him too far, though, or you'll never hear the end about how he's right and you're wrong, and has quite a temper when it comes to questions. He aspires to prove his loyalty and eventually become deputy, and maybe even leader in the far future. His ambition has the potential to lead him into bad situations just to prove himself, though. His desire to do the best pushes him almost too far, but he completely trustworthy and honest, even if it may be blunt and hurt you. He'll say it as it is and have no regrets.
Kin:
Featherpelt [Mother, deceased]
Flamestripe [Father, deceased]
Maplefall [Sister, RainClan, supposedly deceased]
Stonekit [Brother, deceased]
Mate/Crush:
None, wanted
Apprentice:
None, wanted
History:
Hazelkit
"Hey, look! There's the Glowing Falls!"
Hazelkit annouced, charging forward and beckoning for Stonekit and Maplekit to follow. He sat and gazed in awe at the edge of the water, so it was true, the falls did glow.
"Okay, we've seen it, now let's go, please?"
Maplekit piped up, her soft voice coated with worry. She tugged on Stonekit's tail and tapped on Hazelkit's back, trying with all her might to drag her two brothers away.
"Please, come on, I don't want you to fall in, I really don't,"
she pleaded, paws scraping on the soft dirt but finding no real grip.
"Oh, don't worry," Hazelkit's voice was eager with a certain edge, I won't fall in. That doesn't mean I won't get wet, though!"
He bunched his muscles and leapt into the glistening waters, surprised that the current was a little rougher than it looked. But being surprisingly strong for a kit, he held on and told Stonekit to jump in with him. Stonekit smiled and did just as Hazelkit did, but dragged Maplekit with him.
"No... no!"
She collapsed and fell into the water, she not as strong as her brothers. All of the sudden she was being tugged away, shrieking for her brothers.
"Help, help!"
Hazelkit leapt into action, paws churning the water with Stonekit behind in a struggle to keep up. The current was getting progressively stronger as they fell down the small waterfall into a real river. He bobbed his head under unwillingly, his whole body quivering as they were being swept towards the RainClan border. Stonekit latched onto Hazelkit's tail and the added weight sped them up, getting closer and closer to Maplekit. His paw extended and he managed to hit Maplekit slowing her down a moment so that they caught up and Stonekit grabbed her. With Hazelkit in front the trio of kits flew down with the current, time flying faster until they neared something... the Big Drop. Even in OakClan the kits had heard stories of the RainClan landmark, and now that they were near it it seemed unreal. Hazelkit gathered the very last of his strength and made his way to the side, grabbing a soggy piece of moss. He pulled himself out of the water, only to find that Stonekit and Maplekit weren't there. He yowled and watched them fall to their death, feeling all the guilt that his brother and sister were dead.
Hazelpaw
Feeling unbelieveably guilty, his apprentice ceremony was postponed until his seventh moon, but once it got there he vowed to train harder than he had thought. He wanted to make Stonekit and Maplekit proud, watching from StarClan so that maybe the Clan could forgive him for them. Other than that, it was fairly average and nothing life-changing happened.
Other:
Well, he thinks that Maplekit is dead, when she is really a warrior in RainClan hoping that someday she will see her brother again. She had luckily landed on a bed of moss just two foxlengths down, but her calls to Hazelkit were muffled by the water. A RainClan patrol found her and took her in, and then she grew up there.
